About the Area
The Grand Valley of Western Colorado encompasses the geographical area along the Colorado River Basin from the small town of Palisade on the east, through the more urban Grand Junction, in the middle, to Fruita on the west end. Grand Junction, CO is approximately 10 miles west of Palisade, with Fruita another 10 miles west of Grand Junction. Our area offers many vacation activies such as white water rafting, fishing, biking, golf and much, much more!
The Grand Valley lies near the Colorado/Utah border, about midway between Salt Lake City and Denver. The climate and surrounding terrain is that of an arid high desert, with moderate seasonal temperatures, but the Grand Valley itself is truly an oasis in the desert.
